The Reclaimed Timber

We use reclaimed pine for the tops of all of our tables, this timber will generally have marks and blemishes from its previous life.

Our tops could have nail holes, stains, cracks, surface splits, slight colour differences between the planks and other marks or blemishes, the planks may not be perfectly flat. There may be slight lips between the joints of the planks that make up the tops. We regard all these imperfections as character which make each of our table tops truly unique.

We either lightly sand our tops which will soften the natural distressing or polish them as is which gives a more distressed characterful look. They are then finished with a food safe natural oil and beeswax is applied to give you a smooth silky finish.
